Greetings, Salutations and a Hearty Hello.

'Ramblings'...'Meanderings' really does sum up what you may find here. A short story, a quote or something philosophical all with very little organization.

It is my hope, that with your interaction, we can experience life more fully through ideas, thoughts and questions. You see working together we are all smarter than each of us individually. And thanks, sincerely thank you for sharing your most valuable asset, time, with me as we Ramble and Meander through these pages.

Quotes: Imagination and Thinking

“Everything you can imagine is real.” ~Pablo Picasso

“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” ~Albert Einstein

“Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!” ~Dr. Seuss

  2. ...And one more from another master of thought:

"Life does not consist mainly, or even largely, of facts and happenings. It consists mainly of the storm of thought that is forever flowing through one's head" ~ Mark Twain

Marc: I’m glad you mentioned Dr Seuss here, and that Alana credited his genius, because I’ve been carrying around perhaps his final and most serious quote for about a year now (since I first read it) looking for someplace to set it down. Well this looks like as good a spot as any. Shortly before his death, Theodor (Ted) Seuss Geisel (Dr Seuss) was asked if there was anything left unsaid. He pondered the question and finally responded: “The best slogan I can think of to leave with the U.S.A. would be: ‘We can . . . and we’ve got to . . . do better than this.”

Well I agree Dr Seuss, so if I may, I’ll comment on Marc's post now by mangling the last line of your Grinch song:

The three words that best describe this post are as follows, and I quote (it made me,)
    “think, thank, thunk!”

  3. Well, Randy and Marc, I'd like to comment that both your blogs never fail to make me "think, thank, thunk". So, keep writing and keep posting.

And now that we have realized a mutual admiration and respect for Dr. Seuss, below is my all time favotite of his poems.

“How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?”

...and the older I get the more meaningful this one becomes to me.
