Marc: I’m glad you mentioned Dr Seuss here, and that Alana credited his genius, because I’ve been carrying around perhaps his final and most serious quote for about a year now (since I first read it) looking for someplace to set it down. Well this looks like as good a spot as any. Shortly before his death, Theodor (Ted) Seuss Geisel (Dr Seuss) was asked if there was anything left unsaid. He pondered the question and finally responded: “The best slogan I can think of to leave with the U.S.A. would be: ‘We can . . . and we’ve got to . . . do better than this.”
Well I agree Dr Seuss, so if I may, I’ll comment on Marc's post now by mangling the last line of your Grinch song:

Well, Randy and Marc, I'd like to comment that both your blogs never fail to make me "think, thank, thunk". So, keep writing and keep posting.

“How did it get so late so soon? Its night before its afternoon. December is here before its June. My goodness how the time has flewn. How did it get so late so soon?”
...and the older I get the more meaningful this one becomes to me.
